Nohoch Che'en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve is made up of an extensive network of limestone cave systems north of Belmopan City is super-popular for Nohoch Che'en cave tubing and Nohoch Che'en zipline. The Caves Branch River flows through nineteen caves, providing the ideal conditions for tubing through on a inner tube or allowing for exploration of side passages that leads to other cave systems, such as the spectacular Crystal Cave.

The basic 1½-hour tour cave tubing includes a jungle hiking and a gentle float through the caves, witnessing (with the help of your headlamp), schools of eyeless cave fish, stalactites and strange Maya paintings high on the cave ceilings. The cost includes life vest and helmet, and the tubes are linked together from time to time for safety reasons. Tours can be customized to explore further into the cave system – the ultimate full-day tour includes Nohoch Che'en Cave Tubing, Zipline, and Xunantunich Mayan Ruins. The turnoff for Nohoch Che'en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve is at Mile 37 on the George Price Hwy, then it's 6 miles down a sealed road to the reserve entrance. The reserve has toilets, snack shops and cave tubing and zipline to offer. If you decide to drive yourselves, please email us in advance by completing the form below.

We are your private tour guides. We operate at the Nohoch Che'en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve Belize located at Mile 37 on the Western Hwy, Cayo District. We were all employed by large tour companies as freelance tour guides. We came together to start our small tour company. We specialize in Belize Cave Systems, Archaeology, Ornithology, and Indian History, making us one of the most versatile guiding team in Belize. We offer our tour services to all visitors in Belize. We also offer our services to cruisers docking at the Belize City Cruise Port.

We start to dispatch our cave tubing and zipline tour from 8:30 in the morning. It is required that you email us in advance by completing the form below.

Guests staying in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, and Caye Caulker need to board one of the early water taxi to Belize City. The boat ride last approximately 1.5 hours. One of our representatives will be at the water taxi terminal in Belize City with a sign that reads your name.

Cruise ship passengers need to off their ships as soon as possible. If you can board the first tender, that will be great. When you are off your tender, walk to the main gate of the cruise port and exit to the street. Take a right turn and walk 2 minutes to the Light House. The walk to the Light House is a 2 minutes walk. You will see your tour guide with a sign that reads your name.

We offer strictly private tours. This means that you will not be joined by any other groups. It will be only you and your tour guide (s) in the van.

Cave tubing and zipline is designed to last approximately 5.5 hours. It includes a 50 minutes drive from Belize City. As we drive we will be narrating the history of Belize and it’s people.When we arrive at the zipline site we will have a short restroom break. After the break we will gear you up for the zipline tour.

You will be zipping through the canopy of Belize’s rain forest for approximately an hour. You will also be zipping across a river.

After the zipline tour you will be issued with a life vest, a inner tube, and a headlamp. We will then start a 15 minutes hike to the entrance of the caves. As we hike we will be doing presentations on fauna, flora, and the use of the caves to the Mayan people.

The tour of the caves last approximately 1.5 hours. After the cave tubing tour we will be having rice and beans with chicken for lunch. After lunch we will be driving back to the place of tour origin.

Xunantunich and Cave Tubing is offered as a Belize Private Tour. This means that you will not be joined by any other groups. Xunantunich and Cave Tubing From Belize City includes a drive from central Belize to near the western border with Guatemala. As you head to Xunantunich Mayan Ruins, the history of Belize and its people are being narrated to you by your private tour guide. You will be driving through the twin Towns of Santa Elena and San Ignacio.About 20 minutes leaving San Ignacio Town, you will arrive at a hand cranked ferry that connects the Western Highway to Xunantunich Archaeological Reserve. After crossing the ferry, we drive 3 minutes to the Mayan Ruins of Xunantunich. Upon your arrival, you will have a short restroom break. After the break you will begin the tour of the Mayan Ruins of Xunantunich. This where the History of Xunantunich is presented to you. Your private tour guide will also explain the significance of each building. The tour of the Mayan Ruins of Xunantunich last approximately an hour. After the tour of the Mayan Ruins you will drive 20 minutes to a local restaurant where you will be served a local dish of rice and beans with chicken. Ater lunch you will drive approximately 40 minutes to Nohoch Che'en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve where the cave tubing is done. Upon your arrival you will be issued with a lifevest, headlamps, and inner tubes. You will then start a hike on a jungle trek to the entrance of the caves. As you hike to the caves, your private tour guide will be doing presentation on Medicinal Plants and Belize Cave Systems. Before entering the caves, you will be istructed on what you can and cannot do by your tour guide. Just kick back, relax, and refresh in the caves as you're being towed by your private tour guides, Your tour guide will be pointing out formations in the caves as you tube through. The cave tubing last approximately 1.5 hours. When you exit the caves, you will be doing 10 minutes of open river tubing to your starting point. After cave tubing you are to change into dry clothes and head back to Belize City.

Guests staying in Ambergris Caye, San Pedro, and Caye Caulker will be dropped off at the water taxi or at the airport.

Visitors staying in Belize City will be dropped off at their Belize City Hotels.

Mean and Dangerous Adventures Belize

Xunantunich Cave Tubing Zipline is designed to be a full day package. It includes a 2 hours drive from Belize City. As we drive we will be narrating the history of Belize. We will also be driving through the twin Towns of Santa Elena and San Ignacio. About 20 minutes drive leaving San Ignacio, we arrive at the Hand Cranked ferry to cross the Makal River. After crossing the river, we drive 3 minutes to the Mayan Ruins of Xunantunich. When we arrive at the ruins we will have a short rest room break. After the break we will start the tour of the ruins. The tour of the ruins last an hour. Whilst doing the tour of the ruins, we will be doing presentations on Medicinal Plants, Ecology, Indian History, and History of Xunantunich Mayan, Ruins.

After the ruins, we will drive 40 minutes to the zipline site. We will have another short break. After the break, you will be geared up for the thrilling zipline tour. You will be zipping approximately 40 mph through the canopy of Belize’s rain forest. You will be zipping over the same river on which the cave tubing is done. The zipline part of this package last approximately an hour.

After the zipline tour, you will be served with a local of rice and beans with chicken with a soda.

After lunch you will be issued with a life vest, a headlamp, helmet, and an inner tube. We will then start a 15 minute hike to the caves.  When we arrive at the entrance of the caves, you will be instructed on what to do and not to do.

Now it’s time to relax and be refreshed by fresh spring water from the mountains by which the river is fed. You will now relax on your inner tubes as you are being towed ( you don’t need to paddle, we do that for you ). As you are being towed we will be pointing out formations in the caves. When we exit the caves we will be doing 10 minutes of open river tubing back to our starting point. The entire cave tubing tour last 1.5 hours. After the tubing tour you will be driven back to where you were picked up.

Belize Zipline - The thrill of the Belize Zipline is extraordinary; being as high as 100ft above the forest floor in the canopy of the rain forest is already an incredible feeling. You are literally in the habitat of birds moving as fast as 30mph. For those with a great adventure spirit this tour is highly recommended. Because this adventure is located within the cave-tubing park the adventure could be a great addition to your cave-tubing tour. It also could be done separately. It’s approximately an hour drive from Belize City on the western Highway. We recommend bringing along insect repellent, sun-screen and your camera of course. After arriving at the park you will be taken to the area where the tour is done which is a few steps from the parking lot. Your guide will then introduce you to the crew at the site to commence your tour.

There are nine Zip-Lines that you will be moving on, all of different lengths and height from the forest floor. It will last about an hour or a little more if there is a large group at the site. Ask for the repelling if it’s available it could be the highlights of the tour. Belize Cave Tubing ATV is designed to last approximately 5.5 hours. This includes a 50 minutes drive from Belize City. As we drive to the Atv site we will be narrating the history of Belize. We will also be pointing out sites of interest. The drive last approximately 50 minutes. When we arrive at the atv site, we will have a short restroom break. After the break, you will be shown how to manage the atv. This is where the adventure begins. You will be speeding through Belize's rain forest for approximately an hour. After the atv ride, we will drive 3 minutes to the cave tubing site. When we arrive at the atv site, you will be issued with life vest, headlamps, helmets, and inner tubes. We will then start a 20 minutes hike to the entrance of the caves. When we arrive at the entrance of the caves, you will be instructed what to do and what you cannot do. We will then tube through the cave systems as your private tour guide do presentations on the use of the caves to the Mayan People. The cave tubing last between 1.5 hrs. and 2 hrs. After the cave tubing you will be served with a local dish of rice and beans with a soda. After both tours of cave tubing and atv, you will dropped off at the place of tour origin.
